Villa De Dream

This property was everything my family and I needed to get away. We didn’t want to be in the city where there’s so much noise and touristy things. We wanted something beautiful, comfortable, and somewhat recluse, and this property was just that and more. I only regret not having more time. The hosts April and Jarl are incredibly helpful, communicative, and accommodating. I have nothing but the absolute highest recommendation for anyone interested in this property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our family vacation at this property. The home was beautiful, and the views were breathtaking. It was roomy enough to accommodate all of us. We spent the week together creating memories, and my daughter and her new family enjoyed having a separate space in the casita at night. We all enjoyed playing pool in the bar area, spending time with the baby in the soaking pool, having morning coffee outside on the patio, and watching the sunset in the evening. We enjoyed grilling and cooking as the kitchen was stocked with cooking and eating utensils. There were coolers, towels, and beach chairs for our beach days! April was quick to answer any questions we had about the best beaches in the area, as well as ideas on where to see the rainforest with a baby in tow.

The home was beautiful, but the roads up were a bit rough. I asked the host about getting home any other way and she quickly sent me alternate routes which made the rest of the stay easier and less stressful while driving. Overall it was a great setup outdoors, had a great view and was clean. The bunk beds in the casita are a bit on the crowded side as they appear to be in what could have doubled as a closet but the rest was nice as it had its own kitchen and laundry and was otherwise spacious. The host had great recommendations for local places to visit which were helpful. We had an enjoyable stay in Rio Grande!

What a fantastic home! We are a family of 7 and it fit us perfectly. The views in the pictures do not do it justice. Great way to spend quiet time out in the mountains coming back from the city or beaches. The long windy roads are worth it once you arrive. Hosts are fantastic and very responsive, seamless transitions with any questions asked. We will definitely be staying again.

Wonderful stay here! Breathtaking views from big, covered deck included incredible rainbows & a shooting star! Could hardly pull ourselves away from our magical perch high above the valley w/ San Juan in distance, but did hike & explore beaches, nearby Finca Neo Jibiairo (local cigars, tasty cocktails in casual, farm vibe) & memorable dining experience @ Portela by Orujo in San Juan - all < hour drive. A small, concrete pool (size of large hot tub) provided nice “dip” after our travels. Set in a peaceful area, this lovely home was very clean & so comfortable! Slept well in nice beds; ceiling fans & a/c provided reprieve from January sun & temps in the 80s. We like cooking together so look for rentals w/ well-equipped kitchens - this one had everything incl. lots of space & a dishwasher. (Do major grocery shopping @ Walmart or other big supermarkets - small ones near house rather limited.) April is a great host & very responsive to our few questions. Would return in a heartbeat!

Our family of 6 loved this place. The two youngest, two girls 7 and 10, loved the plunge pool as did the adults to cool off. There were lots of spaces for us to spread out and play games together while others sat and read. It was fun and relaxing. The house was well designed with separate sleeping areas and good air conditioning. We are so happy we chose to spend part of our vacation in the mountains near the rainforest. The roads were winding and narrow and always an adventure to find our way. If you enjoy that sort of thing, following maps and GPS, you will love it. The view was wonderful. We loved the neighborhoods and smaller supermercados. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Kmart was handy for the big shopping trip.

As others have said, the views from this property are truly incredible and pictures can’t do it justice! The house had everything we could have needed—kitchen supplies, beach towels, beach chairs, a portable cooler for our beach day, etc. We traveled with another couple, for a total of 4 adults and had plenty of space! The outdoor areas were great for morning coffee and evening drinks. So, so beautiful and peaceful!

Normally I don't write reviews but I can't withhold myself from writing a review for April and Jarl. We are a family of 4 and visited PR earlier this month. April was very helpful and responsive to our texts and took care of everything we requested. The place was perfect and we can tell a lot of work was put in to the minute details so the stay is memorable. Our return flight got canceled and April worked hard to let us extend our stay for another day until we got our next flight. We loved the scenic setting and enjoyed fresh Bananas and fruits right from the trees. My kids didn't leave the pool table area the whole time. There is more than enough space for everyone. All in all, this was the best vacation we had and definitely will come back. 5 stars to April and Jarl!

The pictures did this place no justice. It was perfect for what my group of 6 needed and we felt right at home. The view is breathtaking and so peaceful. The home came with every amenity that we needed which exceeded our expectations. If anything was needed, Jarl responded right away. We felt safe the entire time. If staying here, I recommend getting a car. Thanks April and Jarl for welcoming us to your home and we are already planning a trip back.

Everything was perfect 🤩

The Villa de Dream is breath taking, absolutely beautiful, in the middle of the Yunque, everything is like 30-50 minutes away. I recommend!

A group of four of us stayed at this beautiful home for 5 days/4 nights. We love it. The pictures do not do the view justice. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. The outside area was beautiful. The pool is a little on the smaller end, but it was still big enough for the four of us to fit in there comfortably and relax. The owners were very nice and communicated with us the whole time. You need a car if you plan on going to San Juan, and it's about a 40 min drive. But we didn't mind it. We would for sure stay there again.

We had a great time. This hidden gem in the rain forest has the best views from the big spacious deck and from the spacious area under the deck. Pictures did no justice for this beautiful, landscaped oasis. This absolutely met all expectations, from the house, views and the new deck that was just installed. Not to mention the covered area under the deck that is very spacious which includes a big bar, pool table and a great seating area to relax. Also is big enough to turn some music on and do some dancing. Great party area. The bedrooms are very spacious and just a great layout and great decor. The kitchen is very spacious and cook friendly. We will definitely be back.

There aren’t words enough to describe how wonderful this stay was. The home is beautiful, and pictures really don’t do it justice. The view is breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some…even a pineapple corer :)! April and Jarl went above and beyond as hosts - their communication, support and resources were of the highest quality. We had a few unique challenges arise during our stay and they went out of their way to help us, even when it wasn’t necessary for them to. We never felt like a burden as guests in their home which is a huge consideration when renting out other people’s homes. We felt safe and comfortable the entire trip. It’s so worth it. The space is huge and welcoming. The outside social space is where we spent most of our time and it was AMAZING. I 100% will return if I ever make it back to PR and encourage anyone who can do so. Thank you for such a memorable vacation and sharing your beautiful home.

This was our first trip to Puerto Rico and it did not disappoint. The home was even better in person and the view was absolutely breathtaking. Perfect location as well, we were able to explore all around. We will definitely be returning yearly! Thank you, April & Jarl, you were amazing hosts.

Amazing house in a wonderful location in the rainforest. The drive there was actually very easy from the Airport, and the owners will give you the directions. House had lots of fun things to do, and we navigated ourselves to the waterfalls. Would love to visit Again at her home.

This home was amazing! I loved my stay. The home was even more beautiful than what the pics show. Indescribable views! Perfect intimate pool. Jarl was amazing. Quick and friendly communication along with a cute welcome basket upon entry. I’m looking forward to my return, I’m positive that I’ll be back.

It was extremely beautiful. It was my first time in PR and the view was spectacular. Any problems we had April was very helpful and quick to get back to me. Would absolutely stay her again!

Our stay was lovely and restorative. It feels rare that a place is more beautiful than photos. A stunning, spacious home, great lighting, beautiful space. A great place to land and have fun with all the amenities to play in the bar area - lots of great nights playing pool, cards, darts etc. beautiful sunrise and sunset near el yunque, great proximity for bird lovers (pack your binoculars!). Highly recommend. Our hosts were always timely with support, communicative and helpful. I can’t wait to come back!

We had the best time enjoying an authentic Puerto Rican atmosphere. April is a great host, very attentive. Her home is beautiful, and the views are breathtaking. You will enjoy the coqui chirping. The locals are very friendly. I would book again for my next trip.

April was amazing and very attentive; her handbook was a huge help and everything recommended was spot on! Beautiful home and very clean. Definitely an Airbnb id rent again!

I was some having trouble getting in bc it was dark out and I’m naturally an airhead but these host were so kind and were there anytime I had contacted them for help or had a question. Getting in wasn’t an issue after they helped me out. The view was AMAZING the photos do it justice, absolutely breath taking. The place was a big space and VERY clean. I’m very gracious to have stayed here and I would love to come back without a doubt. 10/10 recommended if staying in PR.

Absolutely beautiful place. Tons of room, beautiful views and lots of indoor areas to hang out indoors and outdoors. Only note is that figuring out how to check in can be tricky, just press the "start check-in" button which reveals a bunch of the instructions.

This place is the perfect location for a getaway in the rainforest. Beautiful and stylish space. Will highly recommend to others.

Love the place is far from a lot of things but if you have car the place is perfect the view is amazing everything is up to date very clean the host replies to your very fast which I loved but the place is to die for loved it
